Benefits of Bergamot EO

Can offer support in the following conditions: Stress, loss of appetite, indigestion, agitation, depression, infection, inflammation, intestinal parasites, rheumatism, insomnia, vaginal candida, insect repellent.



Benefits of Cedarwood EO

Cedar can be mildly antiseptic, diuretic, and a nervous system sedative. Has been traditionally used for acne, oily skin conditions, scalp disorders, lung congestion, nervous tension.



Benefits of Clary Sage EO

Traditionally used for relaxing, spasmolytic, supports hormone balance, may help with PMS; may help with blood sugar control. Can offer support in cases of anxiousness, irritability, nervousness and stress, amenorrhea. Avoid when pregnant.



Benefits of Eucalyptus EO

Eucalyptus essential oil has traditionally used as an antibacterial, expectorant, mucolytic. Eucalyptus essential oil can offer support in conditions of Bronchial infections, joint and muscle soreness.



Benefits of Lavender EO

Traditionally used as an anti-inflammatory, balancing, relieves pain, calming, relaxing. Can be supportive in cases of anxiety, stress; small burns, cuts, insect bites.



Benefits of Lemon EO

Has traditionally been used for uplifting the spirit, antidepressant, stimulating, antibacterial, disinfectant.

 

Peppermint EO
Has been traditionally been used for stimulating the mind, supporting digestion, as a decongestant and insect repellent. Can be supportive in cases of nausea, indigestion, fatigue, sinusitis, congestion.



Benefits of Rosemary EO

Has been traditionally been used for stimulating the mind, enhancing clarity, relieving stiffness of joints, stimulating healthy hair growth. Can be supportive for conditions of rheumatism, arthritis, hypertension (small doses), hypotension (higher doses), respiratory infections, hair loss. Avoid using if Pregnant, breast feeding, or Epileptic.



Benefits of Ylang Ylang EO

Has been traditionally used as an aphrodisiac, and to calm overexcited physiological states. Used in hair preparations to promote thick and shiny hair, also to add luster to skin. Ylang Ylang essential oil can be supportive for conditions of over-excitation and temper.

Safety Using Essential Oils

While EO's are natural, they are also highly potent and proper safety precautions should be considered. If ever in doubt, contact your local Aromatherapist or ND for further discussion on safe usage of EO's. EO's to avoid when out in the sun:

Angelica, Bergamot, Caraway, Cassia, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Cumin, Dill weed, Grapefruit, Honeysuckle Abs, Laurel Leaf Abs, Lemon, Lemon Verbena, Lime, Mandarin, Opoponax, Orange, Patchouli, Petititgrain, Rue, Tagetes, Tangerine



EO's to avoid if you experience seizures:

Balsamite, Basil, Camphor, Cedarwood, Fennel, Lavandin, Lavender, Hyssop, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, Spikenard, Tea Tree, Thuja



EO's to avoid if you have high blood pressure:

Hyssop, Pine, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme



EO's to avoid if pregnant/breastfeeding:
